Batty For You Costume Party Invite

So sorry for not getting anything posted last week.  I was having problems with a tooth, but all is good now.

Here is a card that my eight year old designed and made for her costume party...she was so excited about her card that I told her I would post it on my blog.  She did them on her own, with a bit of help with the tearing.  I think she did a great job!

Just Believe Flower

Today's card I came up with using our great new Color Coach!   I new I wanted to use Riding Hood Red, so I went to that color and the two other colors that were suggested as good color combination were Baja Breeze and So Saffron, which is how I decided on the colors for this card.

Shimmer Paint: Platinum 116807
Classic Stampin' Ink Refill: Rich Razzleberry 115664
Color Catcher 121093
An empty mini Spray Bottle
Some Rubbing Alcohol

To get the shimmer on the spider web, I took an empty mini spray bottle and added approx 3/4 full of the bottle with Rubbing Alcohol.  In this I added approx 7-8 drops of Rich Razzleberry Classic Stampin' Ink Refill and about 5 drops of Platinum Shimmer Paint.  Shake well. Then place the embossed Rich Razzleberry piece in the color catcher and spray it!
This works great on our Paper Daisies as well and will turn them a rich razzlebery color with some shimmer to them.
